Spicy Keema Pizza is perfect for all meat lovers. It is slathered with White sauce and topped with spicy minced meat, chopped vegetables and Cheese.
For Pizza base
1.5 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup warm water
1 tsp dry yeast
¼ tsp sugar
2 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp salt
Olive oil for brushing
For the white sauce:
2 cups Heavy whipping cream
3/4th cup Mozzarella cheese
1 tsp Italian Herbs
1/4 tsp Freshly crushed Black pepper
Salt to taste
For Kheema fry:
1 cup Onions, chopped
1 lb Ground lamb
1tbsp Ginger garlic paste
1.5 tsp Red chili powder
1/2 tsp Cumin powder
1/2 tsp Coriander powder
4-5 Green chilies, finely chopped
Salt as needed
Cilantro, for garnishing
1/2 onion, sliced
2tbsp Tomato ketchup
1/2 Red Bell pepper, chopped
1/2 Green Bell pepper, chopped
1/2 Yellow Bell pepper, chopped
1 cup Mozzarella cheese, grated
To make Pizza Base
Sprinkle sugar in warm water.
Add yeast. stir and let the mixture sit at room temperature for 10-15 mins till it becomes frothy,
In a mixing bowl add flour, salt and the frothy yeast mixture.
Stir until the mixture becomes sticky.
Knead the dough into a smooth ball.
Apply 1tbsp of Olive oil all over the dough
Cover with a kitchen towel and keep it aside for 1.5 to 2 hours.
The double will double up and nicely leaven.
To make White sauce
In a pan, add heavy whipping cream, cheese, Italian herbs, salt and pepper.
Simmer until cheese has melted and sauce is smooth.
To make Keema fry
Heat oil In a pressure cooker, add chopped onions and fry until brown.
Add ginger garlic paste and fry until the raw smell goes away.
Add kheema. Mix well, cover and cook for 5 minutes.
Now add red chili powder, salt, cumin powder and coriander powder. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes on low heat.
Add 1/2 cup of warm water if required and pressure cook for 3 whistles.
Let the pressure release.
On medium flame, add green chilies and fry Keema until all the water evaporates.
Garnish with Cilantro and mix well.
Preheat oven to 425F
Flatten the pizza dough to a disk.
On a floured surface, roll the dough.
Place the dough onto a greased and dusted pan.
Brush some olive oil on the pizza base.
Spread the tomato ketchup and White sauce on the pizza base.
Spread the Keema fry all over the pizza base.
Top with the veggies.
Spread the grated cheese.
Bake the Pizza for 15-20 minutes.
Broil at 500F for 2-3 minutes.
Cut the Pizza into triangular slices and serve hot.
