These cute little Bacon Jalapeno Mummies are stuffed with cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, pieces of bacon, onion powder, garlic powder and then wrapped in strips of buttery crescents. It is an easy recipe for Halloween and October parties. They are too cute to eat, but trust me they are delicious. Do give it a try!!

  • 8 Jalapenos

  • 8oz Cream Cheese, softened

  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese

  • 4-5 slices Cooked Bacon, chopped

  • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder

  • 1/4 tsp Onion powder

  • 1 package Pillsbury Crescent rolls

  • 32 Candy eyeballs

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • Preheat oven to 400 F. In a small bowl, add cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, bacon, onion powder and garlic powder. Mix well until combined.

  • Slice each jalapeno in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.

  • Fill each jalapeno with the cheese mixture.

  • Roll out the crescent rolls into a rectangle. Using a knife or pizza cutter, cut the rectangle into thin strips.

  • Wrap 1-2 strips around the stuffed jalapenos, leaving a small opening for the eyes.

  • Brush with egg mixture and place on baking sheet.

  • Bake in oven for 12-15 minutes.

  • Once you take the mummies out of the oven, place two candy eyes in each opening.

  • Serve immediately.
