Ingredients
1 cups Whole Milk
1/2cup Heavy Whipping Cream
2 tsp Sugar
1/2 tsp Espresso powder
8oz Dark Chocolate, chopped
Marshmallows for garnishing
Method
In a saucepan, combine the whole milk, heavy whipping cream, espresso powder, chopped dark chocolate and sugar.
Heat the mixture over medium heat, make sure not to boil the milk.
Stir continuously until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture becomes smooth and velvety.
Keep stirring the hot chocolate over low heat until it reaches your desired temperature. Be cautious not to let it boil.
Once the hot chocolate is ready, remove the saucepan from the heat and let it sit for a moment to cool slightly.
Pour the hot chocolate into serving mugs and garnish with marshmallows.
