A healthy and traditional sweet made with urad dal, jaggery and ghee.
Servings: 12 Ladoos
Ingredients
1 cup Urad dal
1 tbsp raw rice
1 cup jaggery powder
1/4 tsp Cardamom powder
1/2 cup Ghee, melted
Method
Dry roast urad dal on a low to medium flame until you get a nice aroma. Allow it to cool.
Blend both urad dal and rice to a fine powder.
Now mix together urad dal powder, jaggery powder and cardamom powder.
Slowly add melted hot ghee and keep mixing until the mix holds together.
Immediately start shaping the ladoo. Take a handful of mixture, roll and shape tightly into ladoo.
Let them dry out completely and then serve.
