Chicken Momos

For the filling

  • 1/2 lb Ground Chicken

  • 1 tbsp Garlic, finely chopped

  • 1/2 tbsp Soy Sauce

  • 1/4 tbsp Vinegar

  • 1/4 tbsp Black Pepper powder

  • Handful Chopped Green onions

  • Salt to taste

For the dough

  • 1 cup All purpose flour

  • Pinch of salt

  • Water

  • 1 tbsp Oil


To make the dough

  • In a mixing bowl, add flour, salt and Oil.

  • Add water and knead it into a smooth dough. Keep aside.

To make the stuffing

  • In a mixing bowl, add ground chicken, garlic, soy sauce, vinegar, black pepper powder, green onions and salt to taste. Mix everything well.

To make the Momo's

  • Divide the dough into equal small portions. Roll each portion thinly into a circular disc.

  • Take a dough disc, wet the edges and place a spoonful of chicken filling.

  • Pinch edge of the Momo sheet and start gathering pleats. Move along the edge till you make all pleats.

  • Repeat the process till all the dough and the filling is used up.

  • Place the Momo's in a steamer.

  • Steam on high flame for 12-15 min.

  • Serve hot with Chili Oil.
