Chocolate Brownie


  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter

  • 1 tbsp Cooking Oil

  • 1 1/4 cups Granulated sugar

  • 2 Eggs

  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup All purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt


  • Preheat oven to 350°F.

  • Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking oil and set aside.

  • In a microwave safe bowl, melt butter.

  • In a mixing bowl, add melted butter, oil and sugar. Whisk well for about a minute.

  • Now add the eggs and vanilla extract. Beat this mixture for a minute.

  • Sift in the flour, cocoa powder and salt.

  • Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Do not over mix.

  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.

  • Bake for 15-20 minutes. Don’t over-bake your brownies. The brownies are done when the center is set and you see the top just begin to crack.

  • Let cool completely on a wire rack then cut into individual squares.

  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature.

  • Serve Brownie topped with your favorite Ice cream and warm chocolate sauce.
