Kahwa is a Kashmiri tea flavored with Cinnamon, Cardamom & Saffron. It is a no milk tea which is always served hot, helps in keeping the body warm and soothes the throat during winters.
Servings - 2
2 cups water
1 Cinnamon stick 2inch
4-5 Green cardamom pods
1 pinch Saffron strands
Honey to taste
4 almonds, silvered
Add 3 cups water to a sauce pan and heat it.
Add cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, saffron strands and honey. Mix well.
Bring to a boil & let the ingredients boil well in water for 2-3minutes.
Turn off the flame, strain the tea using a tea strainer.
Add silvered almonds and server Kahwa immediately.
