Masala Corn Toast
1 Garlic clove, finely chopped
1/2 tsp Black pepper powder
1/2 tsp Red Chili powder
1/2 tsp Chaat masala
1/4 tsp Cumin powder
1/4 cup Onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup Red bell Peppers, finely diced
1/2 cup Green bell Peppers, finely diced
1/2 cup Yellow bell Peppers, finely diced
1 cup corn
Cilantro, finely chopped
1 Serrano pepper, finely sliced
1 tsp lemon juice
Salt as needed
Mexican blend cheese as needed
Bread of your choice
Set the oven to a broil at 500 F.
Butter the sliced bread and broil for 2-3 minutes.
Remove from oven and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, add Garlic, Black pepper powder, Red chili powder, Chaat masala, Cumin powder, Onion, Red bell peppers, Yellow bell peppers, Green bell peppers, Corn, Cilantro, Serrano pepper, lemon juice and Salt as needed. Mix well.
Spread the corn mixture on each toast & top off with Cheese.
Place the toasts in the oven and broil for 3-4 minutes until the cheese has melted.
Serve hot with ketchup or any hot sauce.
