Mirchi Chaaru is my Mom's recipe,and it has a unique flavor.It goes well with any fried dish and rice.
6-7 Green chili
3-4 Garlic pods
2 tsp Cumin seeds
500 ml Tamarind juice(Extracted from a lemon size Tamarind ball)
1 tbsp Oil
1/4 tsp Turmeric
6-7 Curry leaves
Salt as needed
Blend Green chilies, garlic pods and cumin seeds into a smooth paste.
Heat oil in a vessel, add cumin seeds, turmeric powder & curry leaves.
Add tamarind juice, chili paste and salt. Let it boil on a medium flame.
Turn off the heat & serve warm with Rice.
