Spicy Asian Chicken Wings

Who doesn't love chicken wings? These Spicy Asian Chicken wings are not deep fried, instead marinated and baked to perfection. An easy yet flavorful way to enjoy chicken wings.


  • 2lb Chicken wings

  • 1/2 cup Olive oil

  • 1/2 cup Soy sauce

  • 1/4 cup Honey

  • 1/4 cup Chili garlic sauce

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • 4 Garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tbsp Ginger, minced


  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, honey, chili garlic sauce, lemon juice, garlic and ginger. Set aside half cup of this mixture.

  • To the remaining marinade, add chicken wings and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.

  • Preheat oven at 400F.

  • Place a wire rack over a baking sheet lined with foil.

  • Remove wings from marinade and place on wire rack.

  • Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, turning wings halfway through.

  • In a saucepan, add reserved marinade. Bring it to a boil, reduce heat and simmer about 10 minutes or until thickened and sauce coats the back of a spoon.

  • Brush sauce over the baked wings. Broil at 500F for 2-3 minutes until caramelized.
