Umm Ali is a traditional Egyptian bread pudding, layered with buttery croissants, heavy whipping cream, condensed milk, cream and sprinkled with nuts.

Ingredients
2-3 Croissants cut into bite size pieces
1 cup Heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 tbsp Sliced Almonds
1 tbsp Pistachios, chopped
1/2 cup Whipped cream
Method
Preheat oven to 350F.
Chop Croissants into bite size pieces and set aside.
In a small saucepan on medium heat, combine heavy whipping cream, sweetened condensed milk and bring the mixture to a boil. Turn off the heat and let it cool for couple of minutes.
Place the croissant pieces in an ovenproof dish or a cast iron pan.
Pour over the heavy whipping cream mixture. Top it with chopped nuts.
Now spread the whipped cream all over the surface.
Bake for 15 - 20 minutes in the oven until the mixture is nice and bubbly.
Broil on high for 2-3 minutes in the oven until you get a crispy top.
Remove from oven and top with chopped nuts.
Serve immediately, Umm Ali tastes best when served warm.
